Busan, Deauville Festivals Announce Korean, Asian, and American Film Lineups

The 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) has revealed its selections for the Korean Cinema Today and On Screen programs, featuring Na Hong-Jin's highly anticipated "Hope" alongside a diverse range of Korean and Asian independent films. The festival's Vision section will showcase 12 Korean indies and 11 films from emerging Asian directors, highlighting the growing talent pool across the continent.

Meanwhile, the Deauville American Film Festival has unveiled its industry lineup, which will include various talks and panels focusing on different aspects of filmmaking. Additionally, Brad Pitt is set to return to the San Sebastian Film Festival with David Ayer's "Heart of the Beast," marking his first appearance at the Spanish event since 2009.
