DOC NYC Honors Gibney, Takagi, Maing, and Aronson-Rath at 13th Edition

DOC NYC, the prominent documentary film festival, has announced its honorees for its 13th annual edition, scheduled for November in New York City. The festival will present its Visionaries Tribute to a distinguished group of filmmakers and industry leaders, including Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney and filmmaker-sound recordist JT Takagi, who will receive Lifetime Achievement awards.

Also recognized for their significant contributions to documentary filmmaking are Stephen Maing and Raney Aronson-Rath. The tribute ceremony is slated to take place on the festival's opening day at Gotham Hall in Manhattan, marking a significant event for the documentary community and celebrating the visionaries shaping the genre.
