London Film Festival Unveils Competition Lineup Featuring International Acclaimed Directors

The BFI London Film Festival has announced its official competition lineup for its 70th edition, featuring ten diverse films from around the globe. This year's selection highlights a range of filmmaking styles and includes works from acclaimed directors such as Hirokazu Kore-eda, Carol Morley, and Lili Horvát.

The competition slate represents a total of ten countries, underscoring the festival's commitment to showcasing international cinema. Among the notable entries are Kore-eda's "Look Back," Morley's latest project, and Lili Horvát's work, alongside "The Idiot(s)" starring Aimee Lou Wood and the sci-fi romance "My Notes on Mars" featuring Mackenzie Davis. The winner of the best film award will be determined by the LFF awards jury and announced at the LFF Awards ceremony on Sunday, October 18th.
