Prime Video has officially canceled the Nicolas Cage-led superhero series "Spider-Noir" after its first season. This decision arrives as a significant surprise, especially considering the show's strong critical reception, which earned it 11 Emmy nominations, the highest count for any series leading into the awards.

"Spider-Noir" was the second series greenlit and the first produced under a multi-title agreement between Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, utilizing intellectual property from Sony Pictures' Universe of Marvel Characters. Despite its critical success and numerous nominations, the series will not continue for a second season.
