Disney+ Expands Pokémon Content, New Stop-Motion Series and Global Distribution Deal

Disney+ has secured a significant global distribution agreement with the Pokémon Company International, which will bring a new stop-motion Pokémon series to the platform in 2027. This partnership signifies a major expansion of Pokémon's presence on Disney+.

The deal also includes the ongoing broadcast of "Pokémon the Series: The Beginning" on Disney XD, which commenced earlier this month. This series is the first to be released under the new global distribution framework, indicating a strengthened collaboration between Disney+ and the Pokémon Company International.
