Disney+ Scraps Live-Action 'Gargoyles' Reboot

Disney+ has officially halted development on a planned live-action reboot of the popular 1990s animated series "Gargoyles." The project, which had been reported to be in early stages of development in 2023 with writer Gary Dauberman and producer James Wan attached, will not be moving forward.

Original series co-creator Greg Weisman confirmed the cancellation, indicating that the reboot is no longer in development at the streaming service. The news comes as a disappointment to fans who had been anticipating a modern reimagining of the beloved animated show.
