Bank of America Executive Fatally Stabbed in Times Square; Florida Executes 14th Person This Year

A Bank of America executive, 32-year-old Erin Piacenti, was identified as the victim of a daylight stabbing in New York City's Times Square. Meanwhile, in Florida, 74-year-old Harold Gene Lucas was scheduled for execution, marking the state's 14th execution this year. Lucas was convicted of the 1976 murder of 16-year-old Jill Piper and the wounding of her two friends after she rejected his advances.

In a separate incident, 34 individuals, including foreign nationals, were arrested in the Netherlands following a pre-dawn shootout in the village of Overasselt.
