Ukraine is at risk of losing the war against Russia unless critical changes are made within the next few months, according to ousted Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. He stated that Russia is effectively targeting Ukrainian factories and warehouses with a high volume of ballistic missiles, which Ukraine's dwindling interceptor supplies are largely unable to counter.
Fedorov also highlighted that while Russia's territorial gains are slower than in the previous year, they are still advancing in the Donbas region. He pointed to a significant budget deficit in the defense ministry, created by front-loading spending, for which Ukraine, heavily reliant on international donors, lacks a solution. This situation is compounded by reports of unmotivated conscripts manning sparse frontline positions.
