Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in Zach Cregger's upcoming sci-fi thriller, "The Flood," with New Line and Warner Bros. slated for a 2028 release. Cregger will write, produce, and direct the film, with Amblin Entertainment also producing.
In other directorial news, Morten Tyldum, known for "The Imitation Game," is attached to direct a live-action "The Little Prince" film. Simon Beaufoy, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of "Slumdog Millionaire," is penning the script for this ambitious project inspired by the life of aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
