Ron Perlman, Manisha Koirala Join New Indie Film Productions

Veteran actors Ron Perlman and Manisha Koirala are set to star in upcoming independent film projects. Perlman, known for his role in "Hellboy," will appear alongside Peter Facinelli and Mark Elias in the comedy-adventure "We Could Be Heroes." The film, currently wrapping up production in Ontario, Canada, centers on a novice detective drawn into a genuine mystery involving a young gamer.

Meanwhile, Manisha Koirala is attached to lead "Cowgirls & Indians," an indie feature slated to begin shooting in November around Austin, Texas. Written and directed by Nicholl Fellow Tejal Desai, the film expands on Desai's award-winning short "Cowboys and Hindus." The project was previously titled "Cowboys & Indians."
