Open-Source Playground Launched for Agentic Engineering and AI Automation

A new open-source project, PR Council MCP, has been released to provide a practical environment for exploring the intersection of deterministic software and agentic judgment in AI development. This "playground" allows developers to test and refine ideas related to AI automation by offering a multi-agent system focused on PR review, though its broader utility lies in experimenting with core agentic system capabilities.

The platform is designed to be a relatively small Python environment that runs locally, integrating various features found in production agentic systems. These include sandboxing, bounded tool calls, graph-based orchestration, context isolation between agents, and support for multiple models and reviewer dispositions. The project aims to facilitate experimentation with durable workflow state, logging, and tracing, without intending to become a general-purpose agent framework.
