Slack Integrates AI for In-Chat Interactive Data Visualization and Reporting

Slack is rolling out a new feature called Slackforce Surfaces, which leverages AI to enable users to create interactive charts, reports, polls, dashboards, presentations, and even microsites directly within chat conversations. This functionality aims to streamline data sharing and collaboration by allowing users to generate these tools by simply describing their needs to Slackbot.

The AI will then intelligently gather relevant information from ongoing conversations and connected applications, such as Google Drive and Salesforce, to construct the requested interactive elements. This integration signifies a move towards making complex data more accessible and actionable within the flow of team communication.
