Huawei Cloud Launches AI Coding Assistant Across Asia Pacific

Huawei Cloud has officially launched its CodeArts Agent for commercial use throughout the Asia Pacific region. The AI-powered coding assistant, previously in public beta, now offers Basic and Professional editions, aiming to move beyond simple code completion to assist with broader project-level tasks.

The CodeArts Agent is designed with a team of 16 specialized agents, each focusing on different aspects of the software development lifecycle. These include requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, issue resolution, and code review. The tool integrates with popular Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), plugins, and command-line interfaces, and includes enterprise-grade management and security features.
