Harness Launches AI Code Repository with Integrated Review for Agent-Generated Code

Harness has introduced its Agent-Ready Harness Code Repository and AI Code Review, a new system designed to manage code produced by AI agents. This platform aims to provide teams with a controlled environment for AI-driven development, offering scoped permissions for repositories, branches, and environments.

The system's key feature is its ability to group code changes by risk and enforce AI checks that can prevent merges if certain criteria are not met. This integration ensures that permissions and review policies are part of the AI agent's workflow, rather than a post-merge cleanup task. Harness is offering the repository service for free, starting with 50 GB of storage, accessible via Harness MCP and CLI.
