X Corp. Wins Temporary Injunction Against Twitter Name Rival

A federal judge has issued a temporary injunction preventing a startup from using the "Twitter" name, a move that offers some protection to Elon Musk's X Corp. The ruling comes as X Corp. continues its rebranding efforts following the acquisition of the social media platform previously known as Twitter.

However, the judge also indicated that X Corp. may have abandoned its trademark rights to the term "Tweet" and the iconic bird logo. The rival startup, which had been using the "Twitter" name, has since rebranded itself as Tweet.app, suggesting a strategic pivot in response to the legal proceedings.
