This lack of time is attributed to the increasing volume of illness the National Health Service (NHS) is currently managing.

However, the current pressures on the service mean that many GPs are unable to dedicate sufficient time to these crucial aspects of preventative care and patient support, focusing instead on immediate medical needs.
