Hamilton, Leclerc Resolve Monza Clash, Ferrari Lacks Formal Driver Rules

Lewis Hamilton has stated that he and Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc have "squashed" any lingering controversy from their on-track incident at the Italian Grand Prix. The incident saw Hamilton forced wide by Leclerc on the opening lap, prompting discussions about the need for clearer guidelines between drivers.

Following the event at Monza, Hamilton emphasized the importance of avoiding such situations and suggested the implementation of formal rules of engagement. Leclerc has since acknowledged his role in the maneuver, and both drivers have reportedly engaged in direct conversations to address the issue and move forward positively. Hamilton also noted that Ferrari, unlike his former team Mercedes, does not currently have established "rules of engagement" for its drivers.
