Mike Leigh's latest film, 'Tender Loving Care,' has emerged as the major winner at the 74th San Sebastián Film Festival, securing the prestigious Golden Shell for best film and the award for best screenplay. The film also garnered a Silver Shell for lead actress Kate O'Flynn, who shared the acting prize.

The festival, which marked the final edition under outgoing director Jose Luis Rebordinos, saw other notable wins. Amanda Kernell's 'Brace Your Heart' earned her the Silver Shell for best director. Meanwhile, audience favorites included 'La Bola Negra' and 'NAZA,' which received audience nods, indicating strong public reception alongside critical acclaim.
