Warner Bros. has announced significant adjustments to its upcoming film release schedule, most notably pushing the highly anticipated "Gremlins 3" back by nearly a year. The sequel, which sees original writer Chris Columbus returning to direct, is now slated for an October 6, 2028 release, a shift from its previous November 19, 2027 date.

In related scheduling news, the DC Robins-origin puppet-meets-animation feature, "Dynamic Duo," has been moved up three months. It will now debut on September 22, 2028, a strategic move by Warner Bros. distribution to capitalize on a back-to-school animated feature slot appealing to both younger audiences and teenagers. These changes come as the studio also confirmed the "Harry Potter" play in London will be condensed into a single part due to rising production costs.
