Original 'Family Stone' Cast Reunites for Sequel 'The Families Stone'

Searchlight Pictures has officially announced a sequel to the beloved 2005 holiday film, 'The Family Stone.' Titled 'The Families Stone,' the follow-up will pick up 20 years after the events of the original movie and will feature the return of many of its main cast members.

Confirmed to reprise their roles are Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel McAdams, Luke Wilson, Claire Danes, Dermot Mulroney, Craig T. Nelson, Tyrone Giordano, Elizabeth Reaser, Paul Schneider, and Brian White. The sequel is written and will be directed by Tom Bezucha, who helmed the original. The announcement comes as anticipation builds for the upcoming holiday season, with fans eager to revisit the Stone family's dynamics.
