Journalists posed as a potential donor and his American father, who is an impermissible donor, and allegedly funded £30,000 worth of polling that benefited the Reform UK party.

The allegations have surfaced as Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, prepares for its party conference. Simultaneously, the party's economy spokesman, Robert Jenrick, detailed plans for £80 billion in public spending cuts at the conference, aiming to present Reform UK as the "party of fiscal responsibility."
