Luxury Developers Fined £1.3 Million After Fatal Window Fall

Two companies have been ordered to pay a total of £1.3 million in fines following a fatal health and safety breach. The incident involved a 130kg window pane that fell 26 storeys from the Corniche luxury housing development in Vauxhall, London.

The falling window tragically crushed Mick Ferris, a 53-year-old coach driver, to death on October 2, 2018. The substantial fines underscore the severe consequences of inadequate safety measures in construction and development projects, particularly those involving high-rise structures and heavy materials.
