André 3000, Cathy Moriarty Join Netflix 'Scooby-Doo: Origins' Series

The upcoming live-action Netflix series, officially titled "Scooby-Doo: Origins," has added André "3000" Benjamin and Cathy Moriarty to its cast in recurring roles. The series, which is currently in production in Atlanta, is slated for a 2027 premiere.

Benjamin, who previously had a connection to the "Scooby-Doo" franchise, will be part of the ensemble cast for the new iteration. Moriarty also joins the project, which is reportedly generating positive internal buzz ahead of its global launch. The series aims to reimagine the iconic Mystery Inc. gang for a new generation.
