Apple Integrates AI Across Devices, Enhances Siri with New Subscription Model

Apple has begun rolling out its iOS 27 update, introducing a significant overhaul to its Siri voice assistant with AI capabilities. This update, also extending to macOS 27, watchOS 27, iPadOS 27, and visionOS 27, aims to make Siri a more powerful and useful tool for daily tasks.

Alongside the Siri enhancements, Apple is also integrating "Apple Intelligence for Home" into its ecosystem. This new feature brings AI-powered video summaries to HomeKit Secure Video, offering text descriptions of events captured by compatible security cameras. However, these advanced AI features come with a cost, with some HomeKit security camera functionalities potentially reaching up to $60 per month, indicating a new subscription-based model for premium AI services within Apple's consumer devices.
