The breach occurred through a third-party customer relationship management company used by the charity.

Meanwhile, Meta's "Muse" app is facing criticism for its aggressive data collection practices, which include opting users into AI training and encouraging the sharing of sensitive personal and financial information. Separately, victims of undercover police surveillance are expressing concern that the Home Office's efforts to curtail the ongoing spycops inquiry could lead to a "cover-up" of past misconduct by officers who spied on political activists.
