Third Drone and Explosives Found Near Leipzig Airport Following Sabotage Attempt

German investigators have discovered a third drone and suspected military explosives near Leipzig airport, following an earlier attempted sabotage incident. The drone and approximately 50 grams of suspected military explosive were found in Kabelsketal, west of the airport, on August 14th. This discovery comes ten days after an unsuccessful attempt to disrupt operations at the key logistics hub.

Leipzig airport serves as a critical cargo and military logistics center for NATO and is utilized by Ukraine's Antonov Airlines for transporting military supplies. The presence of drones and explosives in proximity to such a strategic location raises significant security concerns and suggests a coordinated effort to disrupt vital supply lines.
