FlyDubai Pilot Stabbed Colleague, Attempted Crash on Israel-Bound Flight

An Israeli-bound FlyDubai flight was diverted to Saudi Arabia after one of the pilots allegedly stabbed his co-pilot and attempted to crash the aircraft. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the attacking pilot intended to bring down the plane with all passengers aboard.

Passengers and crew members reportedly intervened, subduing the assailant. The majority of the passengers on the flight were Israeli citizens. The incident has prompted heightened security concerns and is being investigated as a potential act of aggression.
