Unheralded Stewart Shines at Alfred Dunhill Links; Thitikul Leads LOTTE Championship

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship saw unexpected leaders emerge, with players outside the top 700 in the world rankings stealing the spotlight. This event also featured notable moments, including Matt Fitzpatrick's pursuit of a fifth win this year, Robert MacIntyre's animated reaction to a drone, and the return of Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter to DP World Tour action after a significant hiatus.

In other golf news, the 2026 LOTTE Championship is set to proceed with its established format, boasting a $3 million purse and a cut to the top 65 players. Meanwhile, the PGA Tour Champions will see a unique dynamic at a new event on Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, with Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson participating in a duel that will be somewhat diminished as only one of them is in the field.
