Belgian cyclist Tim Wellens has claimed the overall victory at the 2026 Tour of Britain, demonstrating a dominant performance throughout the multi-stage race. Wellens, riding for UAE Emirates XRG, seized the leader's jersey on the fourth stage and maintained his advantage through to the final day of competition.

Lewis Askey, a British rider, secured a strong second-place finish in the general classification, impressing with his performances across the week. The final stage saw Nils Politt take the stage win, concluding a challenging and competitive Tour of Britain that highlighted both international stars and promising British talent, with Ben Wiggins also finishing in the top 10 overall.
