Maddinson Recalled by Australia After Testicular Cancer Recovery; Crane Earns England ODI Call-Up

Australian batter Nic Maddinson has been recalled to the national squad for the first Test against South Africa, marking a significant comeback after recovering from testicular cancer. Maddinson was diagnosed with the illness in April 2025 but has since made a successful return to the sport.

In other international cricket news, England has called up leg-spinner Mason Crane for the upcoming ODI tri-series in Pakistan. This recall comes nearly nine years after Crane's solitary Test cap. The series also sees Jofra Archer being rested, while Adil Rashid and Sam Curran return from injury.
