Fleming to Balance England Coaching with New Zealand Commentary Role

England's new Test head coach, Stephen Fleming, has been granted unprecedented consent by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to continue his commentary work with Sky New Zealand. This arrangement will see Fleming balance his coaching duties with broadcasting commitments during the Black Caps' Test and white-ball series against India in October and December.

Fleming, who officially started his role as England's Test coach, recently arrived in England for discussions with captain Joe Root and ECB managing director Rob Key. His tenure began after England's successful three-Test series against Pakistan, where batting coach Marcus Trescothick oversaw the team's 3-0 victory. Fleming is expected to finalize plans for the upcoming South Africa tour in the coming weeks.
