Far-Right Activists Converge on Portsmouth Amid Asylum Seeker Arrival

Far-right activists have gathered in Portsmouth following the arrival of a boat carrying approximately 140 asylum seekers. The group, reportedly including an influencer who livestreamed the event and called for others to travel to the port, descended on the city as authorities managed the situation.

The asylum seekers were intercepted near the coast and brought ashore by the Coastguard. This incident marks what is believed to be the first time such a large group has arrived in Portsmouth. The individuals are being transported by coach to the Manston processing center in Kent.
