Nintendo Unveils Zelda Remake Release Date, Live-Action Film Title

Nintendo has announced that the highly anticipated remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" for the Switch 2 will launch on November 5th. This reveal came during a special showcase dedicated to the franchise's 40th anniversary, which also featured footage of the upcoming game.

In addition to the game's release date, Nintendo and Sony have confirmed the title for their live-action "Zelda" movie: "The Legend of Zelda." Directed by Wes Ball, the film is slated for an April 30, 2027 release. These announcements position Nintendo to compete with major releases, including the recently discussed "Grand Theft Auto VI," with the company expressing confidence in its upcoming slate.
