NBCUniversal's streaming service, Peacock, has announced price increases across all its subscription tiers, effective August 18. This marks the fourth price adjustment for the platform in as many years and follows its recent achievement of profitability.
The price hikes aim to allow Peacock to "continue to create the best experience for its viewers, remain competitive in the marketplace, and deliver unique content across all genres," according to a statement on the service's website. New and returning subscribers will see the increased rates immediately, while existing customers will be subject to the changes on their next billing cycle after September 17.
