Netflix Renews 'Crew Girl,' 'Man on the Inside' Concludes, New Comedy in Development

Netflix has announced a slate of developments for its original series. The popular young adult drama "Crew Girl" has been renewed for a second season, less than two weeks after its initial September 10th release. The series has performed well, consistently appearing in Netflix's English TV Top 10 and reaching the number two spot.

In contrast, the critically-acclaimed comedy "A Man on the Inside," starring Ted Danson, will conclude with its upcoming third season. Production for the final season has commenced in San Francisco, with the returning cast and guest stars set to tackle a new mystery. The series, which debuted its second season in January, began with a premise of a retiree taking on a new investigative role.

Additionally, Netflix is developing a new comedy series from "Barry" executive producer Alec Berg and starring Charlie Hall. Hall will also write the project, which is described as a fictional comedy centered around a college fraternity drug ring. Berg will serve as executive producer and supervising writer under his overall deal with the streamer.
