Sony Acquires 'Wolf's Belly' Graphic Novel; Dan Stevens to Star in 'RoboCop' Series

Sony Pictures has secured the rights to John August's graphic novel "Wolf's Belly," a retelling of "Little Red Riding Hood." August is set to adapt his work for the screen, with four-time Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón attached to produce. The acquisition saw Sony outbid several other major studios, including Amazon, for the intellectual property.

In other entertainment news, Dan Stevens has been cast in the lead role for Amazon Prime Video's "RoboCop" television series. The show, which has received an eight-episode order, has been in development since Amazon's acquisition of MGM.
