Netflix Secures Global Rights to Lee Chang-dong Films Following Venice Award

Netflix is set to expand its global offering of acclaimed films by director Lee Chang-dong, a move that follows the recent success of his latest work, "Possible Love." The film garnered the prestigious Silver Lion (Grand Jury Prize) at the Venice Film Festival, highlighting Lee's significant contribution to cinema.

This expanded partnership with Netflix will make a curated selection of Lee Chang-dong's filmography, including notable titles such as "Secret Sunshine" and "Peppermint Candy," accessible to audiences worldwide. "Possible Love," marking Lee's return to filmmaking after an eight-year hiatus, is slated for its theatrical release in South Korea on September 23rd.
