Paramount Faces $4 Million Age Discrimination Lawsuit from Former Distribution Head

Chris Aronson, formerly the head of domestic distribution at Paramount, has initiated legal action against the company, alleging age discrimination and breach of contract. Aronson was dismissed from his position last year amidst executive changes following the Skydance merger.

The lawsuit claims Paramount failed to uphold an agreement to pay Aronson $1.3 million. This payment was reportedly part of an extension he signed shortly before the Skydance deal was finalized. Aronson is seeking a total of $4 million in damages, asserting that his termination was based on his age.
