Elizabeth Holmes to Transition to Halfway House in 2027

Disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes is scheduled to be moved from federal prison to a halfway house in August 2027. This transition marks a significant step in her sentence for defrauding investors.

Holmes, who was convicted on multiple counts of fraud, is currently serving her sentence in a federal correctional institution. Her move to a residential reentry management facility, commonly known as a halfway house, will occur as she continues to serve her reduced sentence in the Austin, Texas area.
