Greenwood argued that the relevance of Ms. Perrottet's children's ages at the time of her advice was not pertinent to the inquiry. The counsel assisting the commission suggested that the information Ms. Perrottet provided might have already been publicly available through other sources, casting doubt on the unique value of her contribution and the substantial payment received.
