Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Kenny Bednarek swept the 100m and 200m events, respectively, also in contention for significant winnings. In the women's 800m, Swiss athlete Audrey Werro continued her impressive season, defeating Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson to claim her own $150,000 prize, despite Hodgkinson revealing a hamstring injury.
