Google Launches AI Student Hub in Gemini to Aid Learning

Google is enhancing its Gemini AI assistant with a dedicated "student hub" designed to support academic pursuits. This new feature aims to provide students with a centralized platform for research, study material creation, and practice assessments as the back-to-school season approaches.

The student hub will allow users to compile research into study notebooks, generate flashcards, and take practice quizzes. Google is also improving the functionality of study notebooks to include support for graphs and images, and the ability to track test dates. This initiative positions Gemini as a direct competitor to other AI tools, such as those offered by OpenAI, in the educational technology market.
