Automakers Race Ahead with EV Launches and Records

This week in the automotive industry, Ford confirmed that its upcoming $28,000 Fathom EV will enter production at its Louisville Assembly Plant in the first quarter of 2027, following a $2 billion factory overhaul. The first vehicles will be prototypes, with the team already in the pre-tooling phase.
